Position Details

The Business Analyst plays a key role in supporting the analysis, reporting, and coordination of efforts across our operations team and other key stakeholders at Clearwater. To succeed in this role, you should have a natural analytical way of thinking and be able to explain difficult concepts to technical and non-technical users.


Responsibilities

  • Perform technical/analytical work that requires the ability to assess both tactical and strategic questions or address issues as they arise, including the creation of business cases, e.g., modeling, quantitative analysis of different options, analyzing and normalizing data in Clearwater systems, etc.
  • Conduct both ad-hoc and standard management reporting to monitor progress against KPIs and targets, and research specific business questions and needs
  • Evaluate business processes, anticipate requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, develop and implement solutions
  • Gathering critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and produce useful reports
  • Serve as a thought leader for technical business processes, developing forward-thinking systems prototypes that promote increased efficiency and productivity on multiple levels

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree
  • 2+ years’ experience as Business Analyst or related field
  • High proficiency with SQL and Jira
  • Expert knowledge in MS Excel
  • Strong organizational, problem solving, and analytical skills
  • Ability to track requests, projects, and tasks to successful completion
  • Strongly inclined to do high quality work in a dynamic and fast paced environment
  • Currently resides in Boise or is willing to relocate


Desired Experience and Skills

  • Knowledge of investment accounting and related investment vehicles
  • Experience with Clarizen
  • Experience with Salesforce
  • Experience in a FinTech or SaaS Company
